We continued to use the Study Steps to Learn a Word.
- Say the word loud. Does it sound like a word you know?
- Look at the word. Look at how the word is formed. Is there any familiar parts?
- Spell the word. Say the letters to yourself. How does each letter sound in this word?
- Write the word. Check that each letter is clear and easy to recognize. If not try again.
In Week 2 we reviewed the short e, short u and short o vowel sounds.
We aslo reviewed the concept of vowels.
