Let’s Start the week with some News:

NEWS

This Thursday is Pink Shirt Day. Even though we are all at home, let’s show our support for the Anti-Bullying Campaign.

This week is the first week back that we will have Science class. On Thursday we will be starting a Life Science project. And starting tonight the Science A-Z Topic will be switched to Life Science. Try reading some books there if you want a break from the Raz-Kids library. They will count towards your daily reading.

Last week the following Students gained a level in Raz -Kids: Felix Yang, Kevin Zheng and Alex Sun.

Elsa Ling & Peter Liu both Raised to the grade 5 reading level last week. Congratulations!

Please finish last week’s Education.com work, then begin the new assignment there.

Please keep reading Raz-kids everyday. Send me 1 recording each week.

Final drafts of your writing are due don’t forget to make them beautiful.

Today, please take out your Wimpy Kids pages from Monday and open it to the New Words, review them.

Once you have reviewed them, look at their use in the story.

Now open the New vocabulary questions worksheet and put the correct words in the correct sentences.

If you are using a notebook, copy the entire sentences into the book.

Putting it together:

You assignment today is to write a paragraph comparing 2 animals. The paragraph must contain the following:

Two similarities

Two differences

Good use of adverbs

Good use of adjectives

Transitive and intransitive verbs

Good spelling of grades 1~3 level words.

AND

Clear Handwriting

1st draft is due today and final draft is due Friday.

Today’s work is to read ” Madagascar” and answer some questions. Please read the story over Wechat to me.

We shall also be reviewing Subjects & Objects today please watch and review before doing the worksheets

Today, you don’t need a video. Please take out your Wimpy Kids page from Monday, open it to the New Words, review them.

Once you have reviewed them, and looked at their use in the story. Open the New worksheet, and put the correct Words or phrases in each sentence.

Each sentence has only 1 New word or phrase. Don mix them together.

To day we will be reviewing proper nouns and comon nouns. We will also be reviewing comparatives and Superlatives. Please video the videos to review, then do the worksheets.

Today we will be doing another, shorter reading comprehension and a but of Grammar practice. Please listen to the videos to get help.
