Today please do a couple of things.

Vocabulary work

Please download and complete the vocabulary worksheet from the class Weiyun.

I would also like you to do one of the vocabulary practices that are linked on this Website on the post just before. Then send me a picture of the completed work. (You can do the crossword, wordsearch or vocabuzz games if you like)

Science

Please send me the weekly picture of your plants.

Please if you did not watch the video last work, do so. It is in the “Science” folder on the Weiyun.

Once you have watched the video fill in the worksheet in the Science Folder.

Science

Today for Science there is 3 things I want you to do:

  • First please send me pictures of your plants.
  • 2nd read some of the passages in the “Life” section in Science Raz – Kids.
  • 3rd please watch the video called photosynthesis ( follow my video to see where)

Wednesday March 25th

Since it is the Anti-bullying month in the APS. I am assigning you to watch the Stop Bullying now videos. You may watch any that you wish.

After you have watched, I want you to choose 1 character from the video and write to them a letter. Give them advice about how to handle their problems.

This is due on Monday, March 30th.

Let’s start the week off with some Raz-Kids announcements. Please congratulate the following students:

  • George Wang reached Level M reading
  • Kevin Zheng reached Level M reading
  • Gordon Zhang had 4 perfect Raz-Quizes
  • Farrel Chen had 4 perfect Raz-Quizes

Good work to these four, and to all of you that have been keeping up with your daily reading.

On Friday we had a quiz, which most of you did amazingly well with. If you didn’t do as well as you could, fear not; You are able to retake the quiz as a digital quiz this week. (Only digital quiz, no printable for tests, sorry.) Click here to visit the test website

But there is a catch. The maximum score you can get will be 75% (75 in the grammar quiz, or 15 in the vocabulary quiz). Your username and password are printed on your Weekly Report.

Education.com

Education.com work will appear as assigned at 7:00 Monday mornings and disappear (as in is due before) Saturday morning. This is so that all of us finish our work directly the weekdays, and can relax with our families on the weekends. It will also include 1 science activity.

Raz-Kids

Please remember to read 1 story everyday, and record 1 for me. This week I want you all to watch the photosynthesis video on Science A~Z.

Due dates

Any work sent in after 5:00 Friday will not be marked until Monday, and so will not be on that week’s report. I need family time too.

Monday’s Work

Today please read the new Wimpy Kid Selection. Answer the questions and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary.

Hopefully I have not been keeping you too busy this week. Today’s work is simple. You may choose any 2 Vocabulary practice tests to do from the list, then send me a screen capture (Picture of your screen, showing your score at the end. That it is. You may try as many times as you want, but Please send me 2 pictures of your scores.
